Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU)

The first in the world offshore Floating Storage and Regassification Unit (FSRU) is constructed by converting LNG Carrier Golar Frost. The FSRU permanently moored offshore Livorno, Italy, about 12 miles from the coast in a water depth of about 120 meters and connected to shore through a gas export pipeline. Storage capacity of 137,000 cubic meters in four spheres, production capacity of 3.75 billion standard cubic meters per annum (bscmpa).

Scope Of Work: The scope of our work in this project included the following:

• Detailed engineering of instrumentation and automation
• Preparation and follow-up of instrument index, Instrument data sheets
• I/O list, cable list, MTO, wiring, Process and F&G layouts, material datasheets, package instrumentation
• TBE for Fire and Gas devices, loop diagrams, analysis of logics
• Graphic pages and Function Blocks inside existing DCS software and development of the logic diagrams for the new part
• Follow-up of package supplies as well as integration of all systems and subsystems installed on the boat. FAT of ESD and DCS
